The seeds of YossTek were planted a long time ago, in the year 1997, when two friends, Shlomy L. (Entrepreneur & CEO of S. Publishing) and Yossi W. (CEO of YossTek) decided to sit down one afternoon and learn how to make a website. At the time they were ages 8 and 9, respectively.
Using a book from the library and a Packard Bell computer running Windows '95, they learned how to build their first website from the ground up. Over the years, their web design skills improved, and both learned to incorporate the all-purpose website programming language called javascript into their web pages, in an effort to keep up with the latest in technology.
As they grew older, each went their separate ways - Yossi goes to college, while Shlomy helps make the world a better place by studying Torah (Jewish Studies) full time in Yeshivah (Jewish Educational Institution) and freelancing on the side under S Publishing.
Yossi started up YossTek as a community computer repair business in late 2000. As he went to college towards a degree in Digital Animation, Yossi moved away from the repair part of computers and YossTek evolved into a multimedia business, with much of its portfolio coming from volunteer work in the community. In 2004, when Yossi was 16, the company went online and extended the reach of its multimedia services to clients all over the globe.
Today, while still focusing on multimedia projects for our clients, YossTek has (Boruch Hashem - Thank G-d) become more than just a graphic and web design company. Yossi is currently studying towards a degree in Engineering and, as time progresses, the company will expand to cover this field as well. YossTek has already begun work on some exciting electronic projects, such as the Remote Controlled USB-powered Car Menorah v1.2, which was recently completed in December of 2008.
In addition, YossTek now has divisions for the Culinary Arts (for recipes and such), and Research & Development (YossTek Laboratories).
YossTek is always working on exciting new projects, and as such, there are many great things to come in the future, with G-d's help. We ask you to join us in making that future a reality. |
